So the time has come where we are looking to replace my 2004 GX470. It's a bone-stock ash blue mica, non-nav with 125k miles on it. We recently moved to Colorado from Oregon, and while I know prices in Oregon for these, I have no clue about Colorado (I've been here two weeks) and what I can find searching on Autotempest are all over the place - based on the search, mine could be worth anywhere from $7500 to $22k?! Aside from two years on the Oregon coast and a year in Wichita, it spent its entire life in the Tulsa area, so it has minimal rust but it does have some light hail damage (stupid midwest storms). Thoughts?

(Bonus points for anyone who can guess where that photo was taken - hint, it is a famous place in Oregon)

So I’m new here and definitely not in Colorado but in TX stock lower mile GXs are listed in the low 20s.
I just picked up a 06 nav w/o kdss 128k but quite a few mods for $22,5
The seller told me that he had guys from up your way inquiring about it.

Doubt it helps much but this forum isn’t the most popular so figured I’d add what I know lol.

Prices fluctuate for a variety of reasons; mileage, service history, condition, stupid mods vs. tasteful ones. Bone stock, low mileage with Lexus receipts for service is going to bring the highest return.

Aside from obvious s*** like fluid freshness, filters, etc;
When was timing belt last done? Did the dealer do it?
Was dash recall performed?
Does the air suspension work?
Does adjustable shock dampening work?
Do you have the exhaust manifold leak?
Is the leather trashed?
How bad is hail damage?

Compare what you have done (and can prove with paperwork) to what has been done to other ones for sale. Then compare mileage. Then consider how fast you want it gone. Then set your price. If no once messages you, it's a good bet your price is too high. If you get 15 responses in the first day, it's a good bet your price is too low.

I do this pretty often so forgive my snark, but this isn't rocket science. Also, modifications usually LOWER the value, unless they are high end parts (ARB, Dobinsons, TRD, etc.).

I agree with a lot of what Jiggles said. Hail damage is the only wildcard I see. If the rust is not on painted parts, I would at least narrow the variable pricing to the $10-$19k range.

Personally, I'd pay an extra $1k for a non nav GX knowing what I know now about the factory nav.

Thanks guys. Hopefully I didn't imply that I considered selling my vehicle rocket science, as I know it isn't, but I was hoping to get feedback from the GX community as the the market analysis I've done in Colorado doesn't make any sense - nearly every GX470 listed for sale in my area isn't priced relative to condition and features (at least when objectively compared to one another).

As for the condition, there is superficial surface rust (tow hitch, bottom of the differential, etc. - common areas where the paint has been scuffed off over time or by use). The hail damage is only noticeable when the car is clean and sitting in the sun, otherwise you can't really see it but it is still there. The leather is good except for one spot on the middle seat where it looks like the leather dried and shriveled some. It does have the beginnings of the manifold leak, but it only lasts maybe 30 seconds on a cold day before it quiets down. The timing belt was done by the dealer at 92k miles, and the dealer also split and resealed the transfer case at 100k. All fluids (coolant, differentials, transfer case, transmission) were replaced at 100k as well, and all oil changes have been done at the dealer (the coupons they give make it cheaper than doing it myself).
