Yet another FT880 install

Pics should be self explanatory! Due to the small size of the remote head and the display, I placed it on top of the steering column for ease of read and less distraction from the road.

The remote speaker is tucked under the shifter console, under the change pocket.

Currently I'm using velcro to secure the remote head to the steering column. I may move it to the left, in front of the vent but I don't know. This position seems very effective and easy to read the tiny letters/numbers.

I dig the face plate mount location. Can you also dim the display for night time?
