I got several of these... They are great, as extensively discussed here and elsewhere. Much higher quality than the price suggests. Not a crappy toy. Even the anal ones here agree... Go and search and you will be convinced...
It takes about 2 mins each to get my 285s from something like 15psi to 30+.
Comes with a nice storage bag, long coiled hose, cables, filter, fuse etc.

I got one thanks to one of Woody's great raffles here. Only fun thing I ever won in my life, plus from a good source. That one I won't sell ever, it's good cruiser Karma. It's in my truck 24/7... I expect many many years out of it.

I bought 2 from mud members. Won't sell those either. Will be for presents eventually or donated to raffles...

But I got another one at full price. Was about $68 or $70 IIRC. It's new in the box, unused, unopened, unlooked at. I'll sell that one I got cuz I need room on my shelf... (and OK, it's just plain silly to have so many... I feel bad about that -sorta...)

Yes, I know, they were $25 for a bit from Kragen when they made the big marketing booboo, and people drove miles to get them, some got a bunch, and they ran out very quickly, and you can get some more now if you find a good time machine... so there...!

But they are great and make terrific presents for gearheads, so I dont' want to lose much $$ on that one. Or I'll keep it for my BIL!

I'll sell it for $65. So what's in it for you, you wonder? Well, you don't have to drive miles to the nearest Pep Boys, or pay full tax, or pay shipping, plus I'll deliver it for you to SnT so you can air down and won't be stuck and won't have to beg somebody to come help you after walking for an hour in deep sand or you won't have to go to the gas station after playing in the sand and you won't have to pay 75c to air up your tires and you will feel good and life is peachy again and you will never be stuck again in the boonies with 2 flats and find your truck vandalized when you come back and you may find a gorgeous blonde in a Ferrari some day with a flat and you'll save the day and she'll reward you in unique and undreamed of ways that will change your life forever........

damn after writing all this I should sell it for $75!

so if you're like me and have a schizophrenic need to always save as many $$ as you can this is not for you. Feel free to drive around, waste gas, spend time, look for sales, coupons etc if you enjoy that kind of stuff....

But if you're a successful quality-minded life-is-too-short mudder and want one delivered on a platter at SnT so you can air up and down all day and still save a few bucks, PM me! Soon, cuz I'm going ASAP.... And no, no "obo" on this one. This is as firm as a US mudder seeing a SFA Turbo Diesel 100 with refrigerated console... :D

:)

added: here are some pics and a bit of a test too: http://www.gearinstalls.com/pepboys.htm
note this thing is too powerful to plug in the cigarette lighter, it comes with leads to clamp on the battery - much better

oh, and in case you have not figured this out yet, this is definitely a *cult* item....! :D

There is a similar unit in todays Pep Boys ad:

FYI - It is inappropriate to post an ad or link to another similar product in the for sale section in the same thread someone is trying to sell something. Think about if you were trying to sell something and someone else came on with stuff like that.

Not cool guys!

I'd say based on his reaction:

what are you waiting for? go get a bunch!

He does not care.

I was not trying to sell anything, he said they were hard to find, that he would only sell it in person and I was trying to help those that could not meet him. Additionally as he pointed out I linked the wrong item. I apologize.

I also have a couple of the nicer unit's eee's yapping about and love them. They work a treat and blew away a bunch of much more expensive units. Word at the time was these had some higher end internals and they were being discontinued because another model was coming out due to either a branding or vendor source change. Mine just keep on pumping and I'm still trying to decide where to put them - underhood or cargo area. Got cheap 25 foot air lines at Harbor so I can reach all 4 tires or the Ferarri owner's tires (can I check your spare, ma'am...?"

Same here. It's in there all the time for that price and rebate.

I did a side-by-side comparo with the other unit posted above, and there's no comparision. The MF-1050 blew it's doors off, and just generally appeared better constructed.

Nice that all you folks have these darn Pep Boys. They won't ship these either:mad:
