I have a 350 Yamaha 4-4 big bear manual shift.Its real hard to put in gear ,runs well and stays in gear. Suggestions on making it shift easier? MIke

Check the clutch adjustment: if it's not disengaging completely it makes shifting difficult. On anything with a clutch.

Having said that, my Huskys always "bang" into 1st when cold: wet clutch plates sticking.
