I'm still just getting my feet wet, I'll probably just run everything as is for now and maybe in the future I'll start to upgrade or jack with it. Theres so much you can do I dont even know where to begin.

All mounts fabed yourself? - sick skills!!! Very nice clean install!!!

You drove from NY to CO? Can't say I blame you. Someone else from Canada did that about a year or so ago!

Regardless of who did the fab work, it's very very nice!

Any chance the image links of the installation could be restored?

Very interested in seeing the finished result.

ooh baby ooh baby nice install...

I need to get a shot of the mic holder I got from a mud member in colorado...it completely finishes it off.

Yea I haven't improved on the 100 design since the one you have, the problem is I don't have a 100 to play with.. but I've since made a 40 and a 60 version, which work well. Come to think of it I need to get those on the web site.. :)

I use Nak's on my 80 series in both the dash and center console. Very happy with both!!!

can you make me a flat surface mount one? That I could double sided tape to my dash so I dont have to drill holes? I dont have any extra blanks on my dash for another one of those and would like to stick one on that wood blank just below the air vent. I've got two many mics (well one isnt even installed yet) for my dash! If I were to drill into that several hundred dollar wood piece and then decide to change my mind on location I'm screwed.

Sure, I'll send you a PM to keep the selling off the tech forum... :)

and to get this thread back on track, how do you like the 8800? I've got two of them, one in the 80 and one in the Taco. I've got a 2800 too in the house for a little base station, also a VX-7r.. anyway do you use the crossband repeat option ever? I haven't. I have run across a few times it would have been useful but always too many buttons to push while driving, it was easier to just pop over to the other channel and relay the message.

edit: oh here's a picture.. same size as the 80 series ones.
