I have a XM Delphi Roady, I wouldn't drive without it now. I have used it on multiple 9-10 hour trips and it is worth its weight in gold. The antenna is mounted (magnetic) on the back behind the roof rack.

I have a picture but it isn't on any web page or anything.

Thanks for the input guys. So, are you guys simply running the antenna wire out the back hatch, w/o going through any holes? Nice. I'll do the same but will use some heat shrink tubing to protect it further.

I would've gone to Circuit city today to pick up the set but I figure it's gonna be hell in there today! Instead, I lotiered in Gumby's shop, admiring his tube bumper!

just run it throught the upper hatch runner, and the hatch seal will take care of it -- no holes --

Sirius, or XM? Which is better?

XM vs Serius

Can I assume that Serius has more sports stations than XM?

A very clean install dude!

I have the XM unit in my 80
This is the permanent mount unit .
The rest of the goodies are under the center console . I also mounted the ant on the roof from the back hatch seal .

I had heard, could have changed by now, that XM does have some commercials while sirius doesn't have any commercials. I dunno, but if i'm paying for satellite radio i don't want any commercials.

XM is commercial free on the music stations I have heard some commercials on the other talk stations on and off, some of the voter requested stations have live dj's but they only take up like a minute out of an hour.

As far as sports its a toss up. XM has ACC, Big 10, and Pac10. Sirius got SEC which is what I care about.

XM also has ESPN, ESPN News, Fox Sports, Sporting News, 2 Nascar channels (blah). I don't know what Sirius has but you can go to their webpages and check lineups.

XM has MLB and Sirius has NFL.

Shop around I found a discount code and got my Roady, antenna, power adapter, another power adapter with fm modulator, and mount for 50 bucks off XM's site (all brand new) a while back before the Roady2 came out.

i got lifetime sirius for $400 --

-- sirius has no ads on music, but ads on spoken --

-- it's estimated that both will eventually go to ads throughout -- :(

I think that's B.S. Just like at the movie theatre the other day, 15 minutes of commercials before the previews! If i pay to see the movie, i don't want any fawking commercials. Now, if the movie was free, then i could tolerate the commercials. Same with sat. radio. If i'm paying for the subscription there had better not be any commercials.

I'll second that CJ! If they bring commercials to sat radio music I will cancle for sure. As it is the DJ's still do to much talk between every third or fourth song. I was bummed to find that there was anything but music on the music channels. I have Sirius and still love it for long trips but do get intreferiance here around town. Minneapolis.

XM
It has the Trucker Channel, Sonic Theater, BoneYard,Squizze, AskChannel;ArtBell Bruce Willams.
and for landtank and junk XM Kids
