So I just got some cheap Pro Comp rims and went to get them installed and they don't fit over the hubs. They are from what I can tell about a 1/6" too small. I called 4wheel parts and they assure me they are the correct fitment.

Anyone ever run into this issue?

They are not only not fitting over the hubs but there is no way the caps have a chance to fit either. The outside diameter of the cap is smaller than the hub itself. This just baffles me that a company that large would offer a rim and not even check the fitment on the 80. I realize we are a small market due to the hub sizing in the front and the amount they stick out compared to the norm but damn this sucks.

What's the hub size on the invoice? If they're 78mm they are made for Chevy. Landcruisers are the same hub bore as every other 6 lug Toyota and almost every other 6 lug Japanese truck (exception being newer big body Nissans). I think it's 108mm. 4WheelParts should know what fits, probably just shipped wrong fitment.

Center caps don't fit my wheels either so we painted the hubs and calipers a nice, purty black.

No hub size on the invoice but good to know

Yea, I've been there and done that. I have some aftermarket wheels already and know the details on the hubs. I think the issue is our (hopefully only front) hubs stick out more than the FJ, Tacoma or 4Runner. They probably just tracked that fitment and figured to 80 crowd wouldn’t be an issue since they already all fit each other.
I questioned the guy on the phone and went thru the whole hub thing and he mentioned these are the "larger" hub size for the Chevy but still insisted they fit.
Really nice guys there and it was a good experience but he seemed to imply there was something wrong with my hubs.
It seems that the rim is designed to fit the cap from the outside which requires a small rib on the outer side of the rim to hold it on. This is the first time I have run across this and is apparently a cost savings? Either way I planned on going without them so no big deal there just sucks they don’t fit as expected.

Broke out the caliper

Going off the info you guys sent on the hub size I broke out the caliper and the OEM spare I have is 108mm. The Jaos rims I have with the cap are slightly over 108mm. I checked the Pro Comp rim and there are 3 stages on it. The inner rim is 108mm, didn’t check the midpoint which is where it hits the hub and the outside (which holds the cap is close to .095mm. It's hitting the midpoint and isn’t even close to the outside rib to hold the cap
I was hoping technology advancements were bringing the cost down on rims along with everything else but unfortunately the good old rule still applies---- “You get what you pay for"
FAWK, this sucks I need to get these on so I can hit the hills and go camping.
