Ron...
It's a flat piece you can have cut at a glass shop if no one has a used one for sale. Mine is out of the tailgate right now and likely won't be reinstalled until late Springs. I can trace you a template if you need one. Just let me know. Hope you got the rear passenger glass installed o.k.

Where are you?

I've got a spare rear window glass. Normal wear, no chips or cracks. I'm in Montana. Can't remember if it was out the '78 parts pig I currently have, or, a '72 parts pig I used to have. I *think* they're the same...don't quote me on it. Let me know, Kevin.

Can you post measurements for everyone who might need to get one cut?

I thought I saw dimensions posted in the past, but length, width, thickness would be great!

Just and FYI:

Following the old carpenters rule (measure twice cut once---usually get that backwards) on my spare in the rafters from a 7/70: length (as yours) 43 3/16 inch. width (dif) 18 1/16 inch: Thicknes 0.211 inch/5.37 mm.

Now on my 7/75 the PO for some reason has a double pane (?????) at 0.268 inches/ 6.28 mm. Kind of academic I'd guess- though the window on the 7/75 kicks some speed going down and drags a nominal amount up.

And flat (did not run a straight edge on it though) edges beveled, corners moderately rounded (of course).

I had my rear window and rear cargo glass cut from tinted glass. The 3 pieces cost me around $245.00. This was for tempered double pain with the edges and corners rounded.

I have an OEM tailgate glass I will sell for $25.00. If you were local and could pick up I would say FREE but to send it I will have to buy a piece of wood to strap it to and get a a box, etc. UPS ground would likely be around $45.00. I sent a whole set of glass FJ55 glass to the east coast. The flat sheets do fine if you pack them right. The windshield is a different story.

might post on mudship to see if anyone is traveling to your area from one of the places that have glass. i've got one in denver also, but i won't ship glass. too hard to package and not reliable.
