Hey Guys,
Anyone local have a stock steely for sale, I need one for a spare. I could use some hub caps too.
I found a decent rim in CA but the shipping makes is a bit pricey for an old rusty rim so I'd rather find one locally.
Thanks,
Mike

I have a set of 5 60-series I'll sell for $100

Gotta watch the year of the rims. If those Ebay rims are from a '72 and are held together with rivets they will NOT fit on a disk brake front axle.

The hubcaps are a decent price for used but the last set I bought new from the dealer were less than $20/ea. (with the YT discount at Wellesley Toyota when I was still a Masshole...)

Nick

Cruiserparts had good prices on new hubcaps

Did you try calling cruisersolutions?

Just one? And like Nick said, welded or riveted?

Free with a purchase of every Toyota Stout on the lot. :grinpimp: Otherwise stop on your way over and pick up 27 lug nuts at a parts store for me. :)

Just 1, welded Disc brake style with the cap clips. So are you proposing a lug nut trade for the wheel?

Yes indeedy. I'll check to make sure, but I should have at least one of those. :grinpimp:

edit: Just checked: one nice and clean but bent, one straight but pretty rusted. It would need to be sandblasted to be presentable, I don't think it would be worth the price of gas to drive out. Your call.

Hey Bighorn, I dont think this is what you are looking for but thought I would offer.

Leaping Deer gave me a wheel that was on the front of his 45. It is not the style you want but would work for a spare, you would need a tire. The tire mounted is OK, but sidewall says 31" and it stands a good inch or more taller than the 31's I have. Anyway, I take it you just want the rim.

Free if you want it. See post #42 in this thread, it is the wheel on the front of the 45.

LMK if you want it.

Leaping deer the other wheel was tops and I painted it and mounted my tire. Looks awesome...Thanks.

No probably not, that's a long ride. I'm not really in a pinch anyway so I can afford to wait. Just thought I'd try to clean up some of the local guys garages first, what a guy huh?:D

Hey Spud,
Thanks for the offer, but I'm not in a pinch so I can wait and be picky.
Thanks,
Mike

Not for nothing, I don't believe anyone mentioned that you can buy brand new wheels and hubcaps at your dealer at a reasonable cost. The numbers are all here on Mud somewhere. That's where the vendors and Ebayers buy them.

I did not know this,Thanks. I'll check their prices first.

" I assume you want the ones with the hub cap clips. If so, the number is 42601-60072." Right from a PM from Cruiser Dan when I inquired about it. I had my buddy rund the number and it came out to $75 each his price. You will have to paint them if you want them gray.
