Hello, I am also looking for a replacement cluster for my ‘81 fj40. My speedometer and fuel gauge aren’t working. I would like one in good condition with a silver surround and in mph. Anyone have something like this? Thanks!
I can probably fix your cluster instead of replacing it.
The later clusters are rare and are different. They have a different speedometer face, 6 digit odometer and the bezel around the gauges is different (symbols and lettering).
I have fixed many of these over the years and it may be a good alternative if you don't have any luck finding one.
