Consider upgrading to the 85-87 rocker assembly & pushrods. They don't have bushings that wear and the shafts don't seem to wear either.

The late model pushrods are 9mm OD tubing w/a 9mm ball at the bottom. The 1976 units are 10mm OD tube w/ 12.5mm ball.

The good rocker arms have 12mm adjuster locknuts, vs 14 or 17mm hex on earlier, heavier arms.

I have a late version rocker assembly (no bushings) with 12mm adjuster jam nuts and all but two of the 8x1.25x70 mm rocker stand mounting bolts. 140.00 and shipping. Send me a pm if you want it. Bill
