Does anyone have a 3fe alt I can buy?

Was swaping mine out b/c from research that was the reason for my Christmas tree of lights on the dash. Well started gettign into it and my connector to the stud was rusted out and the stud broke off while trying to get the nut loose. Alt I bought from a guy on here seems to have the same issue (rusted stud and nut) Any advice or if anyone have a 3fe alt for a 62 that woudl be great.

I really dont want to / cant order an OEM one and dont always know about advance, etc.

Need it ASAP as I am trying to get the 62 sold.

Thanks.

I think I have one, Ill pm you my number

Got a rebuilt one from carquest (in Murphy) for a '40 for 27 bucks, I'd try there first

3fe takes a different model. Im waiting on 3pits and if not I am going to check about having mine rebuilt. Thanks!

OK so I checked the local place about rebuild shops locally. Doesnt sound like there is one toward Abbeville.

I see one in Anderson (Mr. Alternator) and I think one in Mauldin (Dean's Alt and starter). Anyone knwo anything about either of these places? My alt was functioning fine, but the rear stud was rusted and broke off. Just looking for the input.

Well, I have been doing business with Mr. Alt for 20yrs. They have always treated me right and have very good prices. That being said the cs130 I just got from them a month ago crapped out on the first run, took it back and they fixed it for free, I'm now taking it back for the third time because the installed the wrong circuit.

I've never head anything bad about either. I've heard good things about Dean's though. Both are about the same distance from me.

Hmmm didn't know about the Mr. Alt in Anderson just the one off augusta rd in greenville.
