I've got a new (to me) FJ62, and I discovered while driving it on the highway that it likes to lock the steering (slightly) when ever the wheel is dead straight. Terrifying. I could kind of wrench the wheel off whichever side was locking, and it would release and give me back steering, but that was it for me. The truck was parked and the steering column is all apart, and what I found is frustrating. No idea what the beginning of this process was, the previous owner said someone tried to steal it from the guy he bought it from, and the guy fixed it and said sometimes the steering would lock... but someone has clearly been hacking on this thing. The ignition key is different than the door key (in shape and even the key blank is different) but it appears functional.

What isn't functional is first, the aluminum "pin" that goes from the lock tumbler bottom cam, through the ignition tumbler housing (this is the aluminum part that houses the tumbler, the steering column bearing, gets the turn signals mounted to it, etc.) to the switch. The part of this pin that has a raised cam area that depresses the steering lock is all mangled, like it's been ground down really. So I need the new pin. Here is what it looks like:

That part is critical for me to replace. Nice to replace would be this whole ignition tumbler housing, because I think someone drilled out this release pin and I think it's drilled too loosely. I can probably tap a bronze bushing into this and drill the hole in the right place if needed, but I would much rather replace the whole thing. This is what that looks like:

If you've got the ignition tumbler as well, I'll buy the whole lot of it. Any tips on where to purchase this (new or used) would be super helpful.

One thing I will add, if anyone has part numbers for these for a 1988 USA model, that would be super helpful as well. The parts fiche that I've found just list these as "discontinued" and it's pretty ambiguous if it's the right part and comes with the ignition tumbler and pin or not.
