FJ45 Wanted

I have an 67 FJ45swb with removable hardtop project that I've been piecing together to sell. The truck is fairly straight and rust free. It has a front clip off of a 64 FJ40 that is spotless. The original clip wasn't that bad. The box has some minor damage on the corners and the tail-light are busted. It has rust under the tailgate, a golf ball sized hole in the side of the box, and a football sized hole in the drivers side floor. Other than that, it has good, straight solid sheetmetal. It currently has a dead 69 f motor but I have a good running 66 f motor in the garage that goes with it. It's missing the drivers side seat but is otherwise complete. I've seen lesser vehicles go for $5500 on ebay. I would like $5000.00 for this one. If you are interested, let me know and I will try to post pictures or e.mail directly tonight.

PS. I have a smittybilt towbar on it that can be used if you ship it back. You will also need good wheels and tires.

Did you get the pics??? Comments???

Just got home and looked at them. Nice shape overall, personally though I don't feel this is a $5000 truck but everyone has their on opinion. thanks though

Scroll down here on the classifieds and look at orange45's zebra truck he had for sale a few months back it's complete with zebra paint and all for $5k. Your truck is in decent shape with probably at least another $5k worth of parts and paint and a whole lot of time to make it streetable. JMHO

This is a complete truck. I can put it together with the parts that go with it and make it a running, driving truck with little effort and less money. IMHO, it will probably be attractive to a larger market when it is running and driving. That was my original intent. I'm just a little bogged down in projects, according to the little woman.;)

I sold a similar truck to Joe Turpin of JT Outfitters a few years back. If interested in a referance, you could contact him regarding how solid the trucks are from this area of Wyoming. No frame rot and stuff like you see in a lot of places. Most of the frame and axle still have original Toyota paint on them. This is a clean 45 that would make a simple restoration.

You are right it is nice, though IMO I don't think it's worth $5k but that does not mean someone else does not. If I were to make you an offer it would be more like $3-3.5k but again that is just my opinion, good luck with the sale.

With the original front clip, I could go down to $4400.00. Check back next week and it will have the running f-motor in it.
