65'-67' era with the large diameter switch on back.

I'm looking for a couple, with our without the lock cylinder is fine.

I've got a customers 66' FJ40 with a failed switch, its got original matching keys so I can't upgrade to a newer ignition switch and the lock cylinders are not compatible. Spent the better part of the morning re-learning how to re-key locks, de-code tumblers, etc... all to find out it won't work as the depths are slightly different and the "key" on the back of the cylinder is different. That and I would like a spare for my re-key efforts on my 45.

LMK what you have, what you want and how I can get it from you... Thanks!

I got mine from SOR, but you do not want to know the price. But it was new and had a few keys with it.

Just an idea.

I've actually got some of the new ones here in stock, and I sent the customer home with one. However they cannot be re-keyed, and at that they use a double sided key, very similar to a later model FJ40 key. Appearance and dimensionally they fit the dash and look nice and clean, but I really want to send this guy home with matching keys and I have all the tools to re-key and decipher keys. Thanks though :D

Bump, still looking for some early cylinders, both ignition and door. I can re-key to fit but with a key is preferred. LMK

Might have an ignition one bouncing around---will dig through the shop and give you a call.

I think I kept ahold of one that was missing the key just because it was old. If I can find it, I will be glad to forward it. This is just the kind of reason I hang on to some of this stuff.

And that is just the kind of reason we keep old guys like you around too, pack rats! What I would give to dig through your Cruiser nick-nacks :flipoff2:

Let me know Mark, I would really appreciate it!
