yeah thanks im keeping my eye out on kijiji. but sigh lots of them really rusty :( i really want a canadian one with a 3b or2h motor.
 
Try checking Kijiji Saskatoon.... a couple HJ61s for decent prices listed right now if you are okay with RHD.
 
How are you with RHD? I have an HJ61 Turbo with all options. I will have pics soon so PM me an address and I can send them over.
 
i seen an hj60 near revelstoke on the side of the highway last time i was going to kamloops, didnt see a price but it must have had the paint done because there was not a SINGLE rust spot on the body panels, undercarriage and frame had rust but nothing too horrible looking. I wrote the phone # somewhere, ill try and find it.
 
I just stopped and briefly looked at the HJ60 that Cody C mentioned. The owner is firm at $7900 (it is located between Revelstoke and Sicamous). The frame was packed out with mud and there appeared to be some fair decay. The body appeared pretty decent, but it is hard to say what is hiding beneath that "new" paint. It has almost 500, ooo kms also. Too much $;)

Call Caliber Automotive in Edmonton and ask to speak with the owner - Mike. He's debating selling his 1985 BJ70. Let him know you had spoken with me and you were just looking for some more details. He's a mechanic and an honest guy that's really maintained that rig and mechanically done a decent amount of work and a few mods. The body does have some corrosion, but I'm sure the price would reflect that.
