WTB: 95-97 LC or LX450

I am looking to purchase a 95-97 Land Cruiser or LX450. I prefer the Land Cruiser, but an LX470 will do. My dream one is white with grey leather and locked, but I know that will be VERY rare. The color options go in this order: white, dark grey, black, dark emerald green. Locked is a BIG plus, but I know how rare that option is. I would also like it to have under 100k miles. I am in the Roanoke, VA area, but am willing to drive a pretty good ways to look at/pick up. Anyways, please let me know if you guys run into anything that might be of interest to me. Thanks.

No alliliation, I talked to him 8 months ago and told him he was WAY high on price. He must be figuring it out...

I emailed that guy a few days ago. he said he would consider offers but he didnt agree with kelly blue book pricing and that he would be more willing to accept ebay pricing. not sure what that means. i offered him $11000 but have not heard back from him on the offer.

Well, when he was asking high 20's 8 months ago, he didn't want to hear high teens. That's what I told him it was worth and he told me to beat it.

The fact remains he still has it to sell and won't find any educated buyers at almost $20K.

Time is your friend, keep an eye on it.

Well, I probably shouldn't mention these as I am in the same market but there is a 94 and 96, both allegedly locked, at a dealer in Richmond. They can be found on autotrader - both are dark green and the 96 has just over 100K as I recall. I also checked out a unlocked white one in MD w/ 127K that is listed just under 10K. I have not actually seen the ones in Richmond in person yet but hope to as soon as this weekend . . .unless some other mudder gets there first

Saw a couple decent ones listed in Charlottesville too on autotrader and cars.com

Pinged the seller as other than it being a '96 vs '97 that 80 is pretty much exactly what I'm looking...He sent me some better resolution pics and the rig looks to be in good condition. He never did answer me whether he has the 3rd row seats nor if he has more recent pics (ad states rig has 60.5K miles and pics show the odometer with about 3K less than that)....

Anywho, I asked him straight up what he would take cash right now to sell...He stated $18.5K is his bottom line. I wished him well and told him he may be waiting a very, very, very long time to sell. Told him to throw it up on eBay and see what the bidding gets up to. I get the impression he bought the rig thinking he could turn it for a nice profit and reality has smacked him full in the face

Who knows for sure....His basis for value is a 9 month old eBay auction in which a FZJ80 with like 36K miles sold for $29,990. Funny neither buyer or seller ever provided feedback on that auction and I'm not sure who in their right mind would spend $30K on a 10 yr old vehicle but hey, apparently they are out there.
