WTB, 1hdt A/C compressor, LF clear corner lens, LF headlight washer.

Cheers

Well, never mind. I've discovered it's the same compressor used on many other vehicles and easy to come by.

peter-

NO, it's not the same as other models. you'll need a hz/hdt compressor to have everything line up. I tried the gasser 62 and 80 series things this past year and both are a no go.

Rick, you can swap out the clutch/pulley assembly and make it work usually unless the 1HDT is a real weird beast.
When I installed A/C in my '60 I did not have a compressor that worked, just the clutch/pulley assembly mounted on a bad compressor. I went for a walk in the wreckers, found that the late '80's/early '90's Acura has the same compressor as the 'Cruiser. The price at the auto parts place will usually include the clutch and pulley but the difference is substantial it it can be bought without the pulley/clutch, I bought the Acura (without pulley and clutch) one and it's been going great for the past 3 years! I just needed to swap the pulley/clutch assembly for the 'Cruiser one I already had. There was no listing for a Land Cruiser compressor at that parts place.

We tried a variety of available a/c clutch combinationsm (and I needed 24v, but we were trouble shooting hz projects as well).

Case front and center are same for 1988-1992 3F engines, but the rear case (if I remember correctly) was the hold up. The platform for the 13B-T seemed to be correct (I took out my old 13B-T for the HD-T) but pulleys were off no matter what.

We were looking for R12 systems over R134a

Sheldon and Greg hooked me up (and icky) with solid used compressors.
