Installed clutch master and slave cylinders and replaced the stock soft line with an SOR braided line. Also intended to install a gearbox bypass line, but stripped out the fill plug on the gearbox... Clutch is a little mushy, but nobody is more surprise than me that I got it right! Called @southerncruiser62 for instructions, but turned out my MityVac handled the bleeding just fine. So far...

Yep, and then I stopped to pick up some things from @Trollhole and he told my wife "You really can't possibly screw that job up. Like, at all. The system bleeds itself." :(

Ahhhh.... So that's part of what is going on all over my driveway...

I have to cut out the quarter inch L channel that was welded in to repair the old frame supports.

I finally got the other seat cover on yesterday. While I was at it, I washed the floor mats and vacuumed the carpet...I haven't done that in a while, looks like a different truck.

I'll say it so Erik doesn't have to, post a pic or it didn't happen. Were these universal seat covers that slip on, or are they the OEM style that require hog ring pliers and a half day for installation?

no, just universal, I got one on a few weeks ago , before the last hamom, and just didn't find time to get to the other.
I'll get a pic this afternoon.

they wouldn't need covers if they weren't gray

I ordered them online, they were cheap, and the material is thin. But if they last a couple of years, thats fine

Where did you find them?

@CharlestonG8R, where did you find the window track for your driver window on the 80?

Beau diddly, I ordered the rubber track for my 80 windows from Sparks Toyota. Replacing it really helped the windows go up and down a little easier.

How is everyone doing? Sorry for my lack of attendance lately... i got a new job and had to deal with family stuff. I finally got my party to replace my rear u-joint and pinion seals, so my weekend will be fun. Also, i think my power steering pump is leaking. There is fluid all over my driveway and its getting very hard to turn. Any ideas on that?

If your leak runs the pump dry, you may be replacing the pump too. If it's hard to turn, it may be too late for the pump. Using a degreaser, clean up all of the lines and top off the fluid. Check back to see where the leak is. Do NOT buy after market o-rings, OEM is only a few bucks. Have you downloaded the FSM? Do a search on PS pumps and the details are there. Keep us updated.

Also, if you replace your power steering pump, the OEM includes the the suction port union, the aftermarket doesn't. I replaced my pump, it still leaked. I replaced the pressure line, it still leaked. After looking at the FSM, I realized the suction port union was original, so I replaced the o-ring (OEM) in it and no more leaking.

I bought a cheap Chinese replacement off of eBay. I still have the OEM window track out in the shop; someday I'll reinstall it with the replacement motor that I bought from cruiserparts.net.

I couldn't find it on ebay. The best I could do is 33% off of $100 list, bringing it down to $67. That still seems a little high, let me know if you come across the vender's info so I can go direct. Thanks.

Are you talking about the window regulator or the rubber track material? I bought the rubber tracks from @Akella . You can find the cheap regulators and motors on eBay for cheaper than $67...

The window glass run, I'll reach out to @Akella. Thanks.
