Good luck on the better mileage ... I put a 93 Suburban TBI in my Cruiser and get 12 miles per gal with combined street/freeway. If I pull a trailer, I get 10! I was expecting better.

I must admit, my right foot really enjoys the 350 though! I shouldn't be too supprised at the poor mileage!

How in the hades did you do that? You must have been going down hill, with a tail wind, and motor off...Just does not make sense.

Sorry to wiz on your party but; Have you calculated your speedo/odo correction for gears and tires ??????:hhmm:

A 2f can get 17 with being light on the skinny pedal and a well tuned motor ....but not consistently

Aside: Did you diamond plate your tailgate behind your tire carrier? Maybe those shiny aluminum aerodynamics are helping you with your mileage :)

i was happy to see mine got into the 12 range wit my last fill up. i'm usually in the mid-11's.

My '84 bone stock in need of a tune up would get about 10. My new 80 (see sig for mods) gets about the same and has soooo much more power, go figure.
