I have sold several Toyotas with less than 120K on them and they are still running per Carfax reports (over 180k on them). With good maintenance and care, the Toyotas will last a long time. Previas are known to run with minimal repairs over 300K. The LC/LX 100s drive like new at 60K, so 100K is simply a maintenance point. They should last 300K plus with regular mainenance.
When I was looking for a LC/LX I looked at many in the Dallas area. Many were from out of state attempting to get better pricing. Look them over carefully for salt and flood damage. Amazingly, they were close in price to the creampuffs. It is buyer beware in the used car market - I passed some "good deals" because I just was not comfortable with the vehicle. If you drive enough of them you will get a "feel" of what one in good condition should be like and hold out for that.
Dealers say they are not able to certify vehicles that have been in an accident per their reports (more accurate than Carfax). Sometimes the certified ones are not much different in price. On older vehicles that could not be "certified" I found Sewell Lexus straight forward on the condition of their vehicles.
I have few qualms about Toyotas with 100K on them that have been well maintained, especially those made in Japan.
