Would anyone want to run a vin?

Looking at buying a Lexus and I can't seem to get the vin to come up to check the MX that has been done.

Appears that Toyota/Lexus just hosed everyone. I can no longer see all the service history on my LX470.

Dealer-reported service history records are linked to a vehicle's Vehicle Identification Number (VIN). All owner-reported service history records will be made available to the person who input the information on the site, but will not be shared with future owners of the vehicle.

toyota owners site still provides maintenance history, hopefully the lexus owners site is just making an update right now rendering the history unavailable.
 
I couldn't get into Lexus on any browser. Had to create a new Toyota owners account. Could only see two records.
 
Wow that's a major letdown, I was about to leave my house to purchase a really clean GX470 a week ago and decided to check the Lexus site after the Carfax came back clean. Found a record of #4 cylinder failure and other bottom end damage. Saved me big time.
 
Lexus support told me it's a known bug they are working to resolve, they wouldn't give me an ETA though, so they may have just been blowing smoke

That's a feeling you need to get used to shopping for a 100. Those wheels are a crime though, along with the graphics.

Let me know if you need any more reports.
 
I appreciate it. It came with stock wheels and tires but the graphics were glued on. I don't know how much work it would be to remove it properly. It is going to sell for 18K :( wish I could have made it happen.
 
Just an FYI for anyone needing to run Carfax, I stumbled across thie site: Vehicle History Report
It seemed fishy at first but I ran a few different Craigslist VINs and compared to some of my past vehicles and it all looks accurate.
