Runs well. Needs TLC
History – Never driven off-road. Driven in DC, VA & WV only. Purchased from original DC owner, whom I knew, at 10 years old with 54k miles. Since that time, driven in VA as short distance commuter vehicle, then spare vehicle used only in inclement weather, occasional utility use & occasional trips to WV (our dogs did their best to break in the back seat which was otherwise unused). Former mechanic has informed there is rust underneath but unable to elaborate (unable to see or get access to photograph). Original manual included.
Needs only muffler work & emergency brake repair to pass VA inspection.
Head gasket replacement & cylinder head resurfaced 2015 (due to overheating)
Transmission rebuilt 2018
Rusted at bottom rear corner of driver side back door. Undercarriage rust as expected for age & use.
Oxidation hood & roof. Minor body damage passenger front door. Otherwise, condition as expected for age & use, minor dings & scratches. Driver seat torn seam.
Jump seats included, not mounted. Never used.
Other known issues – locking differential light stays on (thought possibly to be sensor), a/c not working, possible frozen rear caliper, electric seats have been disabled, hood struts need replacement, driver power window sluggish/sticky, rear window defogger not working, Missing turn signal end cap. Some screws/fasteners needed.
Driven regularly right up until it failed inspection. Simply unable to continue to maintain this prize, & made the difficult decision to take it off the road.
