My BJ60 originally had the wood look to it, it was a dealer option, a product known as "Trim-Line" at least that was the name on it. I loved it on the brown. I ended up having to remove it in order to fix my wheel well rust, you can always replace it with Mac-Tac kitchen cupboard liner.

Fudge stripe, if you ask me. I always thought "wood paneling on a vehicle"? Perhaps on an old classis that ACTUALLY HAD wood coponents, but on a "modern" vehicle??? Just tacky. No offense. As they say: "In matter's of taste, there is no debate."

But the flames are worse...

It was just the last vehicle you'd expect to see flames on "Land Cruiser wagon with wood pannels" that's the only reason I did it, hey a time and a place.

I'd rather have my old flames than your roof rot.

The wood is trying to hard to look like a Wagoneer. I like it on a Wagoneer, but on a 60 not soo much. Is it a decal? or veneer?

Its a decal.

Im diggin the flames!
There is nothing further from the truth, is what makes it so damn funny!

Ill be pretty bummed when I have to 86 the wood decals...
Not many people like em, but they do add some amount of character to the rig, especially now that its SOA'd and it looks mean!:D
EMBRACE THE WOOD GRAIN!:grinpimp:

RoM: 'she' had a Woody?

Transgendered LC, or chix w/d.... ?

:flipoff2:

this woody cruiser is really starting to grow on me.. It is in really great shape, 156000 miles interior looks like it was never sat in, garaged in NYC since new. Asking price is $5000, I'm really wasn't looking to spend more than $3500.. hmmmmmmmmmm?

Do you think you can talk him down some on the price?
Are there any mechanical issues with the rig?
Is she leaking oil anywhere?
156K isnt even broken in yet!

Ive got 220K on my junk and all I have is a DRIP every couple of days after she's been wheeled, and she isnt buring any oil either!
5K sounds a bit high, but if its as clean as you say, it might not be too bad!

If you get it...get a lift on it!
Its freakin me out to see a 62 sitting so close to the ground!:D

Post up what you do!

I'm sure I can talk him down a bit, it looks clean really pampered rig. There is another for sale in NYC with 220000 miles and it is $2200.. big difference!

Go in with a bunch of data: postings in the classifieds here, comments from "what's it worth" threads, etc.

Friend of mine is a Mustang nut who told me sellers of special interest cars (we qualify) are just as interested in having their babies go to good homes as they are in money. Show you've done your homework, know something about the rigs, & intend to fix/keep it up.

I like the wood as a nostalgia thing - even thought of using Formica on mine but don't know what to do for trim. Kinda double reverse fake poser, like the flames. Then I'd get a vanity plate that reads "MAJOR".

The plan is to eventually give her a makeover to look something like this...

Ohmygod, I think I just wet myself. That's what I want my truck to look like...
