- Yesterday we hooked the front axel back up to the frame.

- Today we jacked up the tub using a 3 ton jack and placed two dollies underneath it. Then we placed one 4x4 on each dolly, and sat the tub on the 4x4s. Then rolled it out into the drive way to clean all the **** out of it and get ready to sandblast it for the next few weekends.

I was just curious as to what everyone's thoughts and opinions are about what shape the tub is in. There are a few r-e-a-l-l-y bad spots on the rear fender wells - Not quite sure what to do about this.

Also wondering how easy it is going to be to flip the tub upside down and sandblast the underneath side.

anything can be fixed...depends on what you can do, afford to pay and are willing to accept as a final product. From the few pics posted, that rear inner fender is indicative to some serious cancer. wait until you sandblast and see all the surprises it unveils!

Looks better than mine did when I first picked it up.

it looks like the floor is not too bad, i could be wrong. if it is pitted you can blast out the rust and coat over it but if there are cracks or rusted through places you have to cut it back to good metal. also while replaceing the fenders it might be a good idea to look into a diffrent wheel well support. i just recently completed my body and it looks like the oem supports are a rust trap. good luck to ya
