How is this different from a mirror? Because I've been wondering the same. Mt first thought was that it would be super annoying but on thinking about it more seems so like a mirror that you'd just get used to it?I am unfamiliar with Cartablet, but I was doing a side-by-side comparison with Wolfbox and LucentVue. I was leaning towards the LucentVue 4k (and I believe a vendor on Mud is a distributor for them. Maybe he’ll chime in… with a Mud discount)
A friend with a shop recently had a rig in and said driving with an always-on rearview camera was annoying. probably gonna look at a head unit with rear camera back up.
I’m going to follow this thread.
If I remember correctly, I bought a back up camera off Amazon. It came with enough wire to run it up the drivers side to the stereo for the video feed. It also had a wire that I ran into the drivers side rear wheel well compartment and I soldered to the reverse light positive and ground wire I attached to ground, this triggers the back up camera on stereo.Where andhow did you get/pick-up the reverse circuit?
I'm having trouble locating this.I soldered to the reverse light positive and ground wire
Umm . . . that is AWESOME! Thanks for sharing!I fly solo.. so my navigation tablet is front and centre. On the rare occasions a passenger has the misfortune to accompany me they are still quite comfortable unfortunately..

Pull the whole light assembly out,I'm having trouble locating this.![]()
Really helpful. I realize now that what I’m getting at is do people 1) go to the reverse bulb or, 2) go directly to the source/transmission. Sounds like almost everybody goes to the bulbs.Pull the whole light assembly out,
Locate the reverse bulb then the wires leading away from the reverse bulb are the wires you need. Take a multi meter and find the positive. The ground wire can be grounded to any good ground you can find. This is how I did it, 3 years no issues.
I went to the bulb because the back up camera I purchased the wires that trigger the camera were only about 3 feet long and I didn’t want to add more length, so just seemed like the easiest option at the time.Really helpful. I realize now that what I’m getting at is do people 1) go to the reverse bulb or, 2) go directly to the source/transmission. Sounds like almost everybody goes to the bulbs.
Thanks for your help!!
