Wix fuel filter#

Anyone have the wix fuel filter number for a 3B handy.
Its rubbed off mine and i want to buy a box from the tractor dealer.

Napa Gold/WIX #3393, under $10 in Napa.

FWIW - after talking with Greg B., the #3393 filter is originally called for the 2H engine, while the smaller #3383 is similar in size to the original 3B filter. My 13BT which returns lots of fuel requires the larger #3393 filter. The #3393 should fit a 3B (in fact, the NAPA online catalogue calls for it for the 3B...another interesting thing) and may be a better filter offering more filtering capacity due to its larger size.

I have the 3386 on by '83 3B right now. I hope it's the right one, but I haven't had any indication that it isn't.

NorCal: Is 3386 a NAPA or WIX number? The NAPA Gold filters are made by Wix, but they have a slightly different number...but should be easy enough to cross reference. #3383 is a NAPA number for me, and #3393 is what I use for my 13BT. Since both would fit a 3B, I was just thinking that maybe the larger one would be better as it has more filtering media due to it's size?

When I first started using Wix (Napa Gold) a few years back, the 3386 was the 3B and the 3393 was (is) the 2H. The 13BT and 2H use the same filter. I wonder if Napa has eliminated the 3386 recently, and upgraded all references to the 3393? I will be a while before I find out, as I have 5-6 of the 3386 still on the shelf for my 3B's.

My 3386 fuel filter is Napa Gold, my 1515 oil filter is Napa Gold. No biggie I guess--I just thought I had given Silvercrusher the wrong ###.

Nope...I'm the source of the confusion. I was trying to remember the smaller filter that was recommended for the 3B, and I thought it was "3383"...I guess it was the 3386 and we were talking about the same filter the whole time. Sorry about that.

service manual recommend : 48 000 Km or 36 month.

personnaly I change it every 2 oil change
