1KZ Wix 551368 filter cut open

Two elements, one might have a few more pleats. Now that I'm typing this up, I'm wishing I'd cut open the elements before I threw it away to see if there was any other filtration media in them, but too late for that now. Anti drainback valve, pressure relief, skookum end cap.

Not a filter I'll use again going forward, but if I had to I wouldn't be concerned either.

Yep, bought this filter before reading that thread. I've driven thousands of miles just fine on Wix filters, so wasn't too concerned using it once I had it, and all was fine. That said, I also won't be buying any more. Cutting open the filter and posting pics was an FIY and sharing curiosity, not a recommendation.

Current filter on the engine now is a Mahle.
