ARCHIVE Wits' End- Gentex Mirror Mount for early 100s (2 Viewers)

Now I can't see why someone would want/need this for the later 100s with the electronic mirrors but hey...

I've been working off and on making a Gentex mirror mount for my 99 100Series. The main issue is the mount itself is integral to the actual windshield so I had to work with that piece. The next problem is it used TINY machine screws to mount the OEM mirror but this means its not smart to mount extra accessories like dashcams and/or GoPros so I'm thinking of JUST a mirror mount.

Right now I am just looking for feedback because I'm really not sure how popular a mirror mount will be if I'm making it a one-hit wonder, whereas on the 60s/80s there are optional mounting options built in.

I'd love to get one when they are ready. I backdated my 2000 LC with the Lexus built-in garage door opener, but its a few revs out of date for rolling-code openers, and the converter units for inside the garage have mostly been a pain in the ass for me. Would love to be able to put a modern opener mirror in.

Very interested. Much prefer rear view camera display in the mirror - I think Gentex has an option like this? Any suggestions on best Gentex dealer/source?

Also mine's 2005 so not "early", but still interested as long as it will fit

Gentex sent me a cease a desist so screw them. But we all use them

I have Joey's bracket on my 105. I did a generic mirror holder on the bracket. it works great.
