ARCHIVE Wits’ End Gentex Mirror ARM

I bought a “universal fit OEM” mirror from Amazon & found the “wedge pocket” shaped slightly different than expected. Included was a windshield-glue-on-wedge, that I was able to drill and countersink. The 1st picture shows the glue-on-wedge after I drilled it. For comparison, the 2nd pic shows the original wedge.

The WitsEnd part of this setup is awesome, but I’d avoid this brand of mirror.

Interesting... that is kinda how mine was... not overly loose though, just enough that it slipped right on and had a small amount of play for my OEM Toyota Prius Gentex. This has resulted in a certain amount of vibration while driving which I have staved off by creating my own "cushions" between the arm and the windshield.

Backup camera and maybe a second camera in a double din radio setup for the front of the truck and you can rock crawl all over the boulders at the mall without looking out your window...

How did you route the wiring from the mirror down?
There’s a hollow space above the visors. I ran the wiring in there and inside the A pillar. I used this fish tape because it has a very small diameter.

When my truck is packed, I have a blind spot big enough for a Miata to fit in. I almost backed over one at a gas station.

Link to camera n mirror plz...
I got a blind spot where an 18 wheeler could fit...
This is the mirror, but see my earlier post about fitting it to the arm.

This is camera. It seems fine although I wish the cable was armored.
