I love this product. Bravo Joey and glad you are back in action

I have a product-related question: I used the kickbox fuse jumper to enable window operation anytime (un-keyed). Now that I have a powered mirror I think it's draining the battery when sitting for a week or two.

Has anyone figured how best to wire the mirror to a non accessory fuse / source? I'm traveling and jetlagged so forgive me for not using search or my FSM, but this post reminded me. I may end up nixing the jumper but it's really handy.

I love this product though!

PS I know the mirror has a power button, but I would prefer auto-on-off

@NLXTACY since I saw the jumper mentioned in your glorious new parts catalogue, could I put a small switch on the 'always-on' jumper wire?

I am all thumbs with electronics obviously

What’s funny is Toyota has one like that but it’s to pulse the signal. It’s used for some transmission codes.

Hey Joey - Great job on the mirror mount. Just getting around to installing it. Question - your GoPro mount uses one of the two 1/4" holes at the end of the mount. Why did you place two holes there? Is there an application that would require both mounting holes? Just curious.

Yes, anything that would require either indexing or preventing an attachment from rotating under torque.

Dam it Joey, how come I did not see this when I made my last order. Went through the hole web sit don't know how I mist it.

PS when the box arrived my Wife ask ? what I needed from Wits'end. I replied nothing, JOEY has thing that I want not Need

I haven't bought an arm yet, but while driving around, an idea popped into my head. @NLXTACY, have you thought about making a mini visor for the side of the arm that faces the windshield? It could be aluminum or tinted plexi, or similar. It would block the sun in that the small area between the top of the windshield and the mirror that the visors don't cover.

Some thing like this.

@NLXTACY, have you thought about making a custom cover for where the arm mounts to the ceiling? I think this would be a perfect location to stuff in a couple of USB's so that any tech using a Ram ball mount can be plugged directly in.

Kind of but nothing I was happy about.

By the way: Kudos for getting famous and being already featured in a museum in Houston:
