Just wanted to make a quick post to clear things up. In my older threads about my LJ71 3RZ-FE swap with the A343F auto, I shared a lot of info before I was 100% sure about it. I’m still learning, and I’ve realized some of that info wasn’t fully correct.
For months, the biggest thing holding me back was the weird shifting problem. After a ton of research and trial and error, I connected the TPS signal from the engine ECU to the transmission ECU — and it finally worked! Problem solved.
This project has been a huge learning experience for me, and I’ll keep posting updates as I confirm more details.
