I am almost done with my 350 conversion in my 71 fj40 and need a little help. Can someone tell me how to wire in the motor with the stock wiring harness, such as what stock wire goes where on the 350. I got a response on CCOT's board but it must of been for a newer 40 because the stock wire colors didn't match. Thanks for your help.

Ignition hot to the HEI positive side

Black wire/yellow stripe (start hot) to the block-side terminal on the solenoid.

Big positive cable to the starter lug.

Alternator ties in with the...uuummm....thicker white wire/blue stripe, I think...

The whole thing mainly minics the FJ40 connections, check out the wire diagrams in the tech section and simply copy what was used stock.
