I will be installing my roof rack with lights before long. I'm concerned about wiring the lights. How have some of you wired yours. Of course pictures would be awesome. Thanks in advance

I ran my wires out of the back corners of the hood, and then up the side gutters on what i think is called the a frame. there is a nice crack you can slip your wire into between the hood corner and gutter. If you take a look you will see what i mean.

I just ran mine up the "b" piller on the passanger side and out the door looks ok...works just fine

Mines kinda ugly but has worked for years out the "B" piller and on the rackmount. My mount being there realy helped my placement. Also found every power wire needs its own ground for 100 watt lights, so every pair has one power and one growing wire.

I keep saying I'll bolt down the wire loom but it still just hangs there.

When I had lights on a roof mounted light bar on my 75 bronco, and prior to that, my XJ. I used a flat 4 wire trailer harness to wire the lights. I used a wire zip tie to stabilize male plug and ran the female plug up to the rack. When I removed the light bar and rack I could just unplug the lights.

Looks nice, how do you keep the wire from popping out of the gutter?
