sounds kinda wierd but, I know we all at one time or another run into a wiring problem:bang::meh::crybaby:. it would be cool if there were pics of stock toyota FJ wiring to the fuse block. so we all get an Idea about which wire went into the block. state year an model:

There is already. It is called a schematic diagram and is much clearer than your average picture as it even shows wires in a covered harness. Coolerman has been compiling a list of schematics for different years.

Newbie here:) So how do I find the schematic for a 71?

I vote for wiring diagrams, and the coolerman's stuff to be a sticky.

Just to be specific, you will need to scan the image at least at 600 dpi for it to be readable. This will be a rather large file (approx 100 mb for 8x11 @ 600 dpi). This is probably too large to email via most servers, so you may need to upload it to the web and post a link to it.

Hmmm... Good point Pin_Head, my email would not handle that. :D

If you do scan it, I could provide you with a secure FTP logon to my webserver. That will allow you to upload the file regardless of size. Or you could send it to me on a CD/DVD.

I can clean it up/shrink it down then upload it to my FTP server for others to download.

Mitchell Database is the name of the program. I've tried scan'n it but its to big for my scanner.thats why I took a picture of it. what if you right clicked on the image an saved picture as an then went from there.

You can take a picture of it, but use the macro setting on your camera and set it for the highest possible resolution, like 10 Mpixels. This still might be too low to use. You will know it is right if the jpeg file size is between 25-100 Mb.
