Im having some gague issues. When my oil pressure gauge "works" temp fades. Then halfway through the drive temp "works" and oil pressure fades. As one comes on the other fades. What do I need to check or replace?

Take apart every connector., Make sure both sides of the connector are clean and free of corrosion, small needle file can reach in - a little dielectric grease will help them stay that way. - a little rubbed on with a q-tip. Inspect the crimp for each connector - corrosion can crawl in under the insulation. Make sure all the grounds are clean. Adding a wire to a light bulb socket is better than just the mounting screw. Clean the terminals in your fuse box with like a 30 cal bore brush after you disconnect the battery - inspect/clean the connections on the back side of the fuse box.

Are you sure it's entirely an electrical problem - do you actually have good oil pressure when it's hot?

The instruments can be a bit random when they get old and dirty, and corrosion on all connectors and fuses doesn't help at all - strip it and clean everything up.
Plus the senders can also go west.
Try measuring resistance of the temp sender directly using a meter at different temperatures to confirm its working - use the battery earth as your reference to ensure you include the whole ground path.
Test the oil sender as per the manual.
If you have resistors available, you can test the temp gauge in isolation without the wiring and sender in the loop.
