wiring for wiper motor

does the cruiser need to be runnnig or can you simply turn the key to one positon beofre starting for the power to be to the wiper motor.

trying to figure out why i have no power to my wiper motor. fuse looks okay but i di dnot have the cruiser running when i was testing stuff out. i had the key turned on but not running.

the PO had removed the wiper motor and all of its parts so now i am trying to figure out how it all goes together.

Don't burn your coil up (assuming you have points) by leaving the key on for long periods. It should work with the key on...
