LEXUS V8 ENGINES LLC
Starting Price from $550

We offer a Wiring Service on the UZ engine family to make it a Stand-alone OEM Management system with a 3 wire start up.
Start, Ignition and fuel pump house supply.
1UZ, 2UZ and 3UZ - manual and automatic - vvti or non vvti
We incorporate a fuse box onto your engine harness so it becomes a stand alone system
We also wire in your alternator, oil light, rev counter and temp gauge as a standard.
Diagnostics on 1UZ would be a OBD1 flash code system build into the fuse box, activated via a bridge terminal. All the rest of them, OBD2 which will give you live data as well as diagnostics readable via either a scanner or your phone. (ELM 327 device required or similar)
We also bypass the immobilizer and stock all the connectors.
We located in Florida, USA - we do ship abroad.
Once your harness is completed, we send you a video of your harness running on one of our test engines.
Contact us via e-mail at sales@lexusv8.com for a quotation.

Nice. So does it have wiring for secondary o2 sensors and evap? Where do you get the vss signal?

If planning to use the catalytic converters and require passing through the emissions then we wire in the secondary O2 sensors. Most people want it all removed. Same goes for EVAP. As for the VSS most people use a manual transmission and take it off of that. If using an auto then one can use the output speed sensor as a signal but would need to run through a microcontroller and calibrate according to the Tyre size and final drive ratio. There are calibration devices available online or one could build your own by using an Arduino or ESP. Should be able to find a pre written code online ime sure so the cost of doing it yourself would be a couple of dollars.

For evap operation do you need a fuel tank level reading? For a manual transmission do you need a manual trans 2uz ecu? What additional inputs are needed to run a vvti motor? A lot of people on here find uz series motor swaps appealing.

You do not need a fuel level reading for evap to function. To remove trans the ECU can be flashed to remove transmission when going with a manual transmission. Not sure what you mean with regards to the VVT. On all the vvt motors when going manual you need to put the ECU in two or should i say 2 on the ECU should be given a 12v for the vvt to function. If not, it will still run but little power, All the UZ engines are brilliant. I prefer the 3UZ or 2UZ depending on application. They are flashable so that opens up a lot more option as well as readable data from the engine ECU. Not downplaying the 1UZ but it is not the best for certain applications.

I highly recommend Tim for anyone thinking about a UZ transplant. His knowledge of these engines is endless, his attention to detail is impeccable (as seen in the pictures), and he is a great person to work with. Tim knows these engines inside and out.

How will your harness quality tested before he sends it back to you? He installs your modified harness/ECU on a shop engine and sends you a video of the engine running with your harness and ECU.

I had him do his magic on a 1UZ vvti harness/ecu and was super happy with the results. I will definitely use his services again for all things related to the Toyota UZ engine family.
