So driving home from vacation last night, had the drivers side rear tire blow the tread off driving 70mph. Damaged some sheet metal and bumper which sucks but not real worried about it. But I stuck my head in the wheel well and saw what looked like a wiring plug that got destroyed. I could see the wire terminals that get pushed into the back of the plug. Could not see where it plugged in anywhere so I am hoping that it was just there for other options. It skinned the main wiring harness but I thing I can just shrink wrap that. I am waiting to see what insurance says. No lights on the dash and everthing works. Anyone know if there is a extra plug up in there? 2000 landcruiser

My guess is towing/trailer lights wiring harness.

It's a lot of wires and it's ugly

That looks more like the wiring harness from my 1978 Kawasaki KZ1000 than something toyota would produce...I'm betting it's aftermarket, but man, that's a lot of wires...
