as stated in a prior post

Took it over to mechanics last week to get a safety.
On my way there (about 20km HWY a wire from the ignition coil to carb shorted the engine,my bro was following, sait there was a 2 foot flame out of exhaust.
Mechanic says he changed wires,(all taped up).
I took a look, frigging guy splice to the old wire(melted one)
The LC is a total wiring MESS

Now my question is...
is there any info on wire guage to use, looks like I ll need to re-wire quite a few systems, mainly ignition.

I'd guess 12-14ga. Get a good pair of wire strippers & start with the largest (smallest #) size & work down until it just cuts through the insulation & you can pull it off. Then you've found the proper gauge.

Kliens are the best.

YUP TINKER,THAT MAKES SENSE caps off sorry
I was and hoping for answer before going home.

Anyways,I bought a roll of 12-14-16,should cover most.

I just can t believe the PO or PO's hacking, there are more wires hanging around then being used.

I will be re wiring everything I can over the week end. Have BIG cables for grounding --- &+++ They will be NO dimming lights when AC DC is cranked!

I ll do some WIRING "searches" if I can t find I ll ask
TY
