HJ45: new floor pans, finish installing Caddy CTS heated seats, install H55.
BJ42: pull out old, tired 3B and replace with fresh 3B turbo engine.
HJ47: get started on 13B-T/H55 install.

man - you are going to be busy

Good to see another Toyota diesel fan!

After nearly ripping my thumbs off at the FG, I will be doing a Scout II power steering install with beefy FJ80 tie rod and draglink upgrades on my FJ40. I hope to finish painting the rig too....

And then there is the VW baja project with Rabid.....

First and foremost I want to get the 73 road legal(it presently should be very close), that alone would make me very happy.
The mods I would like to get done:
FJ60 knuckle/disc swap
Aussie Locker in the rear diff
FJ60 power steering instal
SM465 instal
Linex tub

*dont even start rabid about the lengths of my projects*

paint plows, almost done, lettering
Paint sander, lettering
Paint bed on red F350
Install sander
Paint bed on Big green dump truck
finish 'maintenance' on all the work vehicles, mowers etc, the lists are getting shorter after a few long nights at the shop(s)
Landscape trailer, strip down, paint, build new gate, install gate lifter, install new diamond plate fenders, new hubs&bearings
Get the cruiser painted, body lined, then finish it up so it runs/moves
52 chevy, make it run, stop and steer, then we start on the top chop, bed windows etc. (I realy want to drive this truck this summer)
1970 Mako chop out all the floors, stringers and transom, re-glass and have it ready to fish by May when the stripers come in!
Red mini truck, 4 link front, rebuild front with custom housing

Not all these will get done this winter as money is super tight this year, tighter than its ever been, but all I can do is pray for snow! :D

Nice, you fabbing your own front housing? Can I come over and chat and help?

I'm planning on a custom front housing when I SAS down the way a couple years.

cruiser is in hibernation. Last year I did a frame swap, sas, 60 rear 114" wheelbase, etc, etc...I just got burned out. Ran out of cash, moved...she is in a barn until I get motivated again.

Onto the next project....a streetable 5/1600 Baja bug. Hoping to run a baja race next year, but it will be late next year if that. Wally is doing the tubing (cage, stinger, light bar, engine cage), my friend mike is doing the engine- completely stock 1600 currently in pieces. Lots of rules in the 5/1600 class if we want to run the actual baja.

we have a 76 chassis, new pans and welded on a king/link pin front with IRS rear arms. Just got those boxed up tonight. Out of welding gas, making vtcrusier60 finish them up.

We blasted the front and rear arms this past weekend, along with the frame/unibody center channel.

I will put up a build thread when we make more progress, right now it looks like 2 VW beetles blew up in my garage.

A local tech center is offering paint and body work, and we are looking for sponsors to help with the build a bit. Thanks so far to Jeffs Auto salvage in Milton for supplying us with lots of parts on the cheap.

How did you get a 114" wheelbase?

Yep Ill be using the RS housing and welding on stock knuckles.

Ah, those are hot. I'm waiting for the 9.5" front like a LC, or I may fab my own housing.

I think they're comming out with a revised knuckle ball at some point too, two variations if I remember right.

Oops, my bad. I may have my numbers wrong there.

perhaps I should remeasure, but when I did it I had fj40 springs in front, reversed, and fj60 springs in the rear, reversed.

She is long. I might want to recheck that number, however. Maybe it was 104. come to think of it, that sounds more reasonable.

To be honest it has been a while since I have touched it.

I do know that even with the front fenders and rear fenders cut back a ton, it is still going to hit both ends.
