Thanks Dan - I assume I should go with an OEM seal? What's that going to set me back? Should any windshield shop be able to handle this or should I take it to a dealear?

The windshield weather strip is very inexpensive. The list price is only $36.03.
Most dealers sublet glass installations. I would go to a glass shop. As them if they will glue it in. If they say no, move on to another.

I ahd a leak develop in mine after the last install. The glass shop replaced the seal and it went away.
Of course that was after they tried glueing it in place.
they did stand behind their work though, so, no complaints against them.
