Hi team,

Was coming down big cottonwood canyon in Utah during a blizzard when my windshield wipers decided to quit. Both the motor and the pump aren't working which makes me thinks it's an electrical issue. Any ideas? Trying to get this fixed before my Moab trip this weekend. Fj80 1992 220,XXX

Is the wiper tightened as in the nut, washer maybe frozen

Fuse.

i just had the same issue, where my wipers quit working while driving in the rain. No front or rear wipers or pump action. Fuse pulled and was not blown. However... it seems that the fuse what not making good contact. I had the car running, wiper selector in the on position, wipers not working. Then, gently moving the fuse in the fuse box up and down (not in and out) would cause the wipers to function. So, I pulled the fuse out and brushed off its blades with a wire bush, and I slightly bent one blade up and the other down. Again, very slightly. After replacing the fuse back into its slot, the wipers work again. Easy fix, odd issue.
