do it! lol

Every time I see a product I set a number for what I would be willing to pay for it and what I expect the manufacturer is asking. That's based on a lot of fabrication experience and experience sourcing random parts to make my own solutions (ex. the plastic bottle in that kit).

I looked at this and said, "two brackets and a plastic bottle? I'd pay $75 but I bet they're asking $125." Nope! On sale for $200...

Someone buy it and please post the part number off the tank!

With my bumper I always feel like I’m going to hit it, I’m just now looking at solutions for the factory location.

Mine is hanging down the same way. It's been a back burner issue. I really should start looking to resolve it before something breaks.

I hit a deer two Decembers ago. While my heavy duty bumper limited the damage to only a slightly bent fender and hood, and a smashed headlight. I drove the GX another 200 miles home but a few days later I found out it had taken out my window washer pump located low and on the forward side of the window washer reservoir. It's worthwhile relocating the reservoir. I don't think $200 is that steep.

Mine hangs down like everyone elses', but lower :) Anyway, I figure I will replace the washer bottle when I smash it. I totally thought it would be in harms way when offroad but so far, so good. $200 is steep when there are many other cheaper options. It looks nice though.

I did take a good bumper hit at the same hight as was washer tank last year. I just haven’t smashed it yet. The rust spot just below the tow hook.

I bought a $15 overflow universal coolant tank, drilled two holes for the pumps and one for the float, and moved it to the PS fender. The harness and lines are long enough to fit. Been in there for years and no issues. Way easier.
