There are trails that you can run without those. Sliders always make me more comfortable

Im down with that. I had mentioned it to Woody but he went and moved to Utah

there seem to be a lot in the SE US so TN (Windrock) or AR (Hot Springs) might work? TN was more central to try and get some folks from the NE and midwest as well

yeh between LA & NC would be pretty centrally located .... Mardi Krawl in the spring is in ARK saw ... @SouthernSS coordinates it ... so it would be cool to have a load of gxs there
