Window switch mod?

Hey guys,

I did a search and found threads for the 80, but Joe for the 100. Does anyone know if it's possible to mod the window master switch for an LC so all the windows are auto up/down like they are on the LX? I know the LX has a different plug so you can't just swap the switches over.

In general, the answer is NO. I had to replace my master window switch on my 2002 LC and bought one from a different model year (don't remember which but between 98-02) and the plug was different. I also tried the switch from my folks 2005 LX and it didn't work either, not that I expected that one to. Your best bet is sticking with a switch from the same model year, or else you're in for some frustrating times.

way too complicated. I looked at the wiring diagram. I'd buy an LX plug of same vintage and hardwire it.

me personally, I want to backdate to manual roll up windows.
