I had a set of these for my 60 series. they're great! The only issue we had was that we couldn't use the ones for the back windows when running, since they tended to make the kids in the back a little more susceptible to car sickness. When stopped for the night, though, and on the front windows, they're awesome.

Where would you buy those at. I'm assuming, they're used to keep the bugs at bay, with the window down. Would be good for sleeping and trying to stay cool.

Just google them

I've never seen those before, but the idea is fantastic. This is why I love this forum, every now and then something I need comes along.....!

Both great ideas!

I bought window screen material at Home Depot then sewed them to fit using fine fishing line. Works great and was cheap.

You leave the window up. Mainly used here for keeping the sun off the baby on the back seat.

If you want no-see-em type tent screening, places like Seattle Fabrics have no-see-em type screening in a few colors. The usual ones being light grey, dark grey, and black.

Here are pics of my homemade screens. After you sew them together you can turn them inside out to hide the seems.

Wow! Great idea!

Many years ago I needed insect/ventilation/privacy screen for the back of my 4wd Hi-Lux with a six-pac shell. I used enough black mesh to work with any combo of the shell or tailgate up or down, and snapped it in place inside the shell lift. Have been throwing around the idea of repeating this with our 80 but with rubberized magnetic strips to hold it in place instead of screwing those snaps into the metal or creating a foldable frame with the screen/net and attach it to the the hitch or bumper, etc.

agreed!! nothing worse than lying in your nicely ventilated cruiser and realizing the screens were big enough to let in a swarm of no-see-ems.

I still get itchy thinking about it.
