I hate to have a first post like this but admittedly I am stuck. I picked up a 1985 bj73 a few weeks ago, 3B w/ turbo and about 250k miles on it. It will be a good project since this time around I have the tools and the abilities to do what I want unlike 15 yrs ago when I had my FJ40. I am still in the plotting and planning stage, but I can't wait to tear this thing apart and get into it.
So to the crux of my predicament, I need to replace some, well most of the window seals for the FRP top and the rear doors and the felt vertical separator. I am kind of stumped at where to locate some of the parts for the LC; the local toyota dealer doesn't even have the correct part numbers on their database and they are less than thrilled to assist. I have found one place in France Euro4x4parts.com · 4x4 parts · Pièces 4x4 · Recambios 4x4 that supposedly has what I and some potential to get other parts I might need.
Any suggestions to get me started in the right direction or possibly someone I can get in contact with would be greatly appreciated. Hopefully in time I can repay with an idea or help down the road as this board has helped me quite a bit already
