For those with hidden winch mounts show us pictures of your creative solutions for control box placement or relocation.

I am thinking about mounting mine on a slee tray but I worry about the long cables and voltage drop.

I moved my warn winch control box behind the grille on a simple L shaped aluminum bracket made from 1" wide aluminum flat stock. The top attaches where the horn mounts and the bottom attaches to a nutsert that I put in the radiator support. I didn't have to extend any of the wires.

Used slee tray on passenger side. Works great. No issues.
