In the fall of 2011 (maybe 2010?) I bought a Titan TW12 for my 100 on a GB. Winch sat in its box until recently when I finally got it mounted.
When slack, such as out spooling, there is a lot of clatter. Sounds like the planetaries may have some play. If I apply manual tension on pull it quiets down to about half. Haven't tried it yet with a real load. Is this normal or do I need to pull it apart and throw some grease in it. It's been stored dry and warm.
